Hello GPAC members,
August 21st is this years annual yard sale. Historically, this one day event has yeilded profits of approximatley $1,000! It's a fantastic event that doesn't cost us anything.
Each year, we ask our members to donate their "unwanted" household items to us and we will sell them at the yard sale. If they aren't sold, then we donate them to charity so it's a win-win situation. So if you can take a look around your house or garage and drop off anything that you don't need or want, we would so greatly appreciate it.
Event: Moncton Pride Parade
Date: Sunday, August 22nd

Please note that this event has been canceled due to hurricane Earl passing through the area.
Meet and Greet being held at the New Glasgow Farmers Market on September 4th from 8:30-12. The market is on Jury Street behind Maritime Steel.
We have been invited to setup a meet and greet table at the upcoming Halifax Kennel Club Show from September 4 - 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for GPAC. We worked the last kennel club show in February and it was awesome exposure for us. And with a new load of greys looking for homes, we need to get out there again and generate some more adoptions/foster homes/volunteers.
If you're interested in volunteering for any of the days, please let me know. The times are from 8am - 5pm, and the shifts are 2 hours each.
